Projects

  • PJM Electricity Demand Forecasting ML Pipeline

[W.I.P.] An automated ML pipeline to forecast electricity demand for the PJM balancing authority.

  • Forest Landcover Estimation using Image Segmentation

A project to apply machine learning to estimate the amount of forest coverage shown in satellite images of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

  • Kalman Filter Explorations

Implementation and analysis of the multivariate Kalman Filter.

  • Simulation for Bus Electrification

Worked with RESET Lab on simulating the electrification of transit bus routes in pursuit of GHG emissions reduction and Environmental Justice goals.

  • Rainfall Prediction via Various Classifiers

Comparing 3 classification models (logistic regression, decision trees, and random forests) for binary prediction of next-day rainfall in Australia.

  • News Audio Visualizer

A mini project to visualize live audio streams in the browser with Three.js and the Web Audio API.

  • Blubox

Designed and built a tiny house out of structural insulated panels.

  • PS.xyz

A curated library of creators of color in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle–a digital tool for discovering POC talent around the world. Built with React, Gatsby.js, and Contentful.

  • Procedural Shapes

    The homepage's procedurally-generated animation.

  • TaskDep

A task dependency graph visualization editor

  • FMRI Visualization

A Python software tool for use by neuroscience researchers to visualize neuronal connetomics data acquired through fMRI.

  • Fwoom

A 2D space arcade game, similar to the classic Atari 'Asteroids', written with WebGL and Three.js. (In Progress)

  • Quadtree

A region-based quadtree data-structure that supports dynamic insertion written with C++ and GPU shader based OpenGL.

  • Flying Cubes

A 3D interactive world of bouncing cubes written with Javascript and WebGL. I created this before discovering Three.js, so this project was an exercise in working directly with the WebGL API.

  • Austin Recycling

An Android application developed with Alex Ng and Chan-Tang Hsu to help people in Austin find recycling drop off locations.
